Principal Attorney & Founder
Robert Alexander is the Principal Attorney and Founder of Vanguard Advocates. He represents clients in criminal defense, DUI defense, traffic matters, and contested family litigation throughout Chicago and the surrounding area.
A graduate of Morehouse College and DePaul University College of Law, Robert was admitted to practice law in Illinois in 2018. He is also admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Central District of Illinois.
His work is grounded in preparation, discipline, attention to detail, and courtroom-focused advocacy. Robert approaches each matter by examining the facts, identifying the legal issues at stake, and preparing a clear strategy for negotiation, hearings, and trial.
Before entering the legal profession, Robert worked in the culinary field as a line cook and pastry chef. That experience continues to inform the disciplined, detail-oriented approach he brings to legal practice.
